Our Story
RuneFire Records was founded in 2004 in Iowa City, Iowa. Originally, RuneFire Records was primarily a record label and online music distributor with a focus on the underground heavy metal scene. As a record label, they hosted many local music acts and brought exposure to many bands in the international scene.
In 2006, RuneFire Records relocated to Anchorage, Alaska. Building on their reputation within the music industry, they ventured into new territory and built a recording studio from the ground up. No longer limiting themselves to the metal music genres, RuneFire Records was able to extend their music expertise into a wide spectrum of musical talents.
With the advent of digital media recording, RuneFire Records expanded on their services and began working with local businesses for advertising campaigns. They also lend a hand with blooming filmmakers in video production. With their full-service media production studio, the possibilities are endless.
